The JT 4 Channel Relay Card is a board with four independent relays. The relays can be controlled using an Arduino, and the card is also compatible with the Raspberry Pi. It can also be used in conjunction with systems that have industrial power supplies and other systems that require DC power sources to be switched on and off remotely. The relays are rated for 120 VAC / 240 VAC at 400 mA/240 VAC, and are designed to have a current-limiting circuit built-in so they will not burn out if the load is too heavy. The relays can handle up to 50VDC of input voltage, making this board ideal for use with 24VDC systems. When using the card in conjunction with an Arduino board, the relays will respond when receiving signals between 3 – 5 Volts. The input voltage for the card can be 12V DC. The output voltage of this relay board is 5V DC, which is safe and convenient for controlling low-voltage devices such as LED lights or solenoid valves. Each channel has an input terminal and an output terminal which allows you to connect these terminals with wires to control the device you want to turn on or off. The relay card also has excellent surge protection and anti-interference ability to ensure stable operation. It is designed to drive the relays directly and can be used in many industrial applications such as the control circuit of a machine tool, or automatic door opener or remote control and so on. In the event of a failure or when switching between high motor power and low motor power, it will quickly switch the high-power circuit to low-power circuit by pressing one key on the remote control board. The card requires a bus-powered PCI slot and consumes approximately 2 watts of power (1 watt with the backlight off). Each relay has an independent contact rating of 30VDC at 1A or 250VAC at 2A, and can be triggered by an external signal or by internal timing. The external trigger input uses a 3-pin screw terminal, while the internal trigger input uses a 4-pin screw terminal. The timing input is provided via 16-pin header and allows for event control through software. When triggered, the relays turn on and remain active for 20 seconds before turning off automatically. This prevents unwanted relay chatter due to momentary surges in current draw, thereby ensuring that the card performs reliably over time. With the relay card, one can achieve a wide range of tasks including lighting control, heavy machinery automation, and anything else that requires switching on and off power supply. The device has 8 channels for remote control; each channel can be independently controlled. Each channel contains a relay output. The relay outputs are designed to control various loads with up to 10A 250VAC.
