This GENERIC 1/4Inch Equal Tee Coupling Pipe Connector Black&Blue can be used on PEX-AL-PEX pipe or copper tube with 1/2 inch outer diameter. The fitting is used to connect two equal sized pipes of the same diameter. The Equal Tee Coupling can be used to connect two pipes or connect an elbow or short run of pipe to a larger pipe. Equal tees are commonly used where the input and output flow rates are the same, but it is also possible for them to be used where one runs greater or less than the other. The coupling has an equal leg design to minimize pressure drop in the lines, and a hexagonal nut for easy installation and removal.
